Finally had the chance to try this place. I heard a lot of great things about Ray's BBQ. Was the 1st customer for Saturday & I felt super welcomed as I walked in. Tried their brisket, ribs, a few of their sides & their brisket pupusas. Everything was amazing. I've tried a lot of BBQ & I must say this spot is a must. I will definitely be back real soon. Give them a try

The pitmaster brisket sandwich was amazingly delicious. They we're very generous with the brisket. It's definitely worth every penny. They were very welcoming, and my order was filled pretty fast. I highly recommend Rays BBQ. P.S. the sauce is fire!

Yelp did not start me wrong. Great tasting brisket with a 10-12 hour cook, with an overnight rest. The pulled pork was good too, sprinkled post pull with rub. Rice is not a traditional bbq side, don't miss it (along with the Mac n cheese). #spicemeister approved.

If I could give one restaurant on earth six stars RAY'S would be it. Best everything, the food is perfect, no BBQ in California compares and I've tried them all. My only complaint is they run out of food early so do NOT tell anyone about this amazing place.

Ray's BBQ was excellent! The pit masters are Ray's sons (22 and 25) and they are doing an amazing job on carrying on their father's legacy. They are so young yet mature and kind. I drove an hour in LA traffic to get there and would do it again in a heartbeat! BBQ wise, the Texas style brisket is a MUST! So tender and juicy; just flavorful with that peppery bark. Memphis style Spareribs were so delicious as well. All meats are smoke to perfection-with mesquite and oak wood in a cabinet smoker. Their housemade bbq sauce is fire! I am told that they sell out of pulled pork early, so call in advance and see what is available or get there early. I went there towards closing time and they were kind enough to put aside my order for me. It was still packed when I got there! The sides dishes are a Latin twist to traditional sides. Good stuff! New on their menu are smoked Crispy Chicharron - available Saturday only! I think BEEF RIBS are available on Saturday as well - call to confirm. Note: A small indoor dining with communal bench tables are available if you wish to dine-in. No more outdoor seating. Thank you for accepting Cash and Credit. A pet peeve of mine is when a place is CARD only. Given a choice, I prefer to pay in cash. Parking should be no problem at the mini-mall with extended parking space near neighboring business.

Wowowow, the service is so amazing here. Everyone was so friendly and it's overall good vibes as soon as you walk in. Definitely has a homey feeling with the communal tables and benches. I heard about Ray's a long time ago from a YouTube video about the family that owns it, and I was so excited to finally get to try it. It definitely did not disappoint. We tried the brisket, mac & cheese, and sausage. It was definitely enough for 2 people despite not looking like too much. If there's anything you NEED to get, it's the brisket and mac & cheese. And you should definitely eat them together. Comes with white bread and pickles. While it's a little pricey, it's one of the better American BBQ style restaurants I've tried in SoCal.

Delicious AF. Finally got the chance to try this spot out. Put in an order online on a saturday morning and rolled right over. I've gotta say the saturday only chicharrone pork belly was a life changer for me. It was smoked to perfection. I've never seen smoke lines like you'd see on a brisket on pork belly! And to top that off the skin is so damn crunchy and full of flavor this is now a thing i make all friends that come visit LA try. Its that good. This is one of the single most best bites in all of LA . Brisket: I went with the fatty, and fatty it was. Juicy and full of flavor. Pairs perfectly with their in house bbq sauce. Pork Ribs: Fall off the bone juicy. I will say these lacked the same punch of flavor as the brisket and the chicharrone pork belly, so I needed to sauce them up a bit with the bbq sauce, but overall the juicy fall off the bone nature of these ribs were definitely appreciated. Easily shoots to the top BBQ spot in LA for me, and if you havent tried this place yet or have been putting it off then its time for you to finally come thru. Come here!

This is THE spot for some legit bbq. So rarely is brisket done well...and Ray's didn't let me down. Was greeted with a lovely hello and the service was great! Small little restaurant with all the bbq vibes. Can't believe I forgot to post this a while ago. I think I'll be in the area tomorrow and plan to go grab some more. Soooo good

Went to Ray 's Texas BBQ in Huntington Park for some Take-Out BBQ. This is a family owned restaurant. They use a wood smoked style with pepper. When I got there they were already sold out of Pork Ribs. Ordered 2 lb. Of Brisket (Moist) and 2 lb. Of Pulled Pork. Also got large orders of Coleslaw and Potato Salad. It comes with white bread, pickles, and onions. The gave me some of their sauce. It was spicy and a little sweet. Use sparingly. Both meats were smoky and moist. The Brisket was my favorite. Everyone was super nice and friendly. No restrooms for customers. They have a shared lot with other businesses. Rating: 4 Stars
